About Me

Hi, my name is Eleni McKnight (pronounced "Lenny" with an "Ah" in front of it). I'm a Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's from Trevecca Nazarene in Nashville, and I have my bachelor's in Theatre Arts from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.  I started my career in therapy in opiate rehabilitation, where I learned so much about addiction and systems that kept my patients sick and helped them advocate for a sober life.

I grew up in the Middle Tennessee area, near Nashville, and I am a fan and patron of the arts. My primary goal is to work with women and help them explore aspects of their lives they wish to change for the better.

My dream as a therapist is to treat Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, and Eating Disorders. I am an advocate for the 12 Steps and Shame Reduction. I have walked the same path as my clients, as I am in recovery from my own eating disorder. I use the skills I learned in my own treatment to empathize and help my clients make lasting changes in their lives.
